While there is indeed no way to obtain free sunglasses that we are aware of except of one small occasion that we will mention at the end of this article. You can however get your pair replaced for free sometimes. We'll give you some more information in this very article.

When your sunglasses break
When your sunglasses are faulty because of heavy use and have become unbearable to wear, do not throw them away just yet. You'll find that if you telephone the company you purchased them from or send them off an email explaining that the sunglasses have been worn out by usage, they will have a replacement policy available for you to follow.
Usually a replacement policy will cover all wear and tear types of problems where the sunglasses have broken themselves from heavy or extended use. Most companies will not replace the sunglasses if you dropped them or sat on them and broke them yourself. Always ask about the replacement policy details. Sometimes you can still get a replacement if you dropped or sat on them though. However, most times there will be a small fee for it.
Shipping cost is also an issue if you've ordered the pair online. Sometimes it's cheaper to just go out and repurchase the same pair of sunglasses than it will be to send the damaged pair back in for replacement.
Company promotions
Sometimes big companies will have free products for a promotion they are having. We did some research and found out that Money Mart, company from Canada actually gave out free sunglasses to people who sent money internationally using there money transfer service one time in September of 2005. It lasted for a two month period only.
If you have a big company, perhaps it would be an excellent idea for you to offer free sunglasses to all applicants of your service as well.
Currently, we have not heard or found of any other sources for free sunglasses.
